EGGS,EGGS,EGGS

Today I'm going to tell you about eggs! The best thing about having chickens is that you get to collect their eggs. Every day my chickens lay up to 5 to 10 eggs, that about 1 egg every 2 days per chicken. When they are really happy, each chickens can lay an egg everyday. The bad thing about it is I have to clean the eggs one at a time. The silkies lay little eggs and the red hens lay big eggs. Once cutie pie laid an egg that was so small it was the size of a gobstopper.

  1. First I clean them in hot water do get rid of any dirt or hay from the shells
  2. Next I fill a bowl with cold water
  3. I place an eggs one at a time in the bowl
  4. If it floats it means the egg is rotten
  5. If it sinks to the bottom it means its yum yum and ready to eat
These are my eggs ready in the carton. This is about 3-4 days worth. My family can't
eat that so many eggs so we sometimes sell them to our neighbours. The neighbours call me the "EGGSPERT" .. Ha ha ........
This is me cooking my famous scrambled eggs for breakfast!!!. They are sooo delicious..

Sometimes when we leave the windows open in our car Bok Bok sneakily jumps through the window into the front seats and waits for us to get into the car to drive away. I think she is trying to hitch hike into town. What a silly chicken...
